Razer Synapse stores all of a user's button configurations and profiles on to the mouse's internal RAM, instead of using the PC hard drive, and this ensures that all of the user's button configurations, macros and dpi settings are available on any computer, with or without drivers.
Specifically, Razer Synapse will store information such as LED on/off presets, dpi settings, macros and profiles. It will also record keyboard commands and allow a gamer to emulate keyboard functions if a keyboard is not available.

With Razer Synapse, Razer devices can be used on any computer that does not have the proper Razer driver installed. This is especially important for professional gamers who often have to play at live competitions, with computers that may not have Razer drivers installed.
Razer Synapse is a convenient feature that many pro-gamers and "gamers-on-the-go" can appreciate when using their equipment while travelling.
