proceeding with installation of new Diamondback drivers.
Please note these drivers are not intended for
use with any other Razer mouse products (Boomslang, Viper).

3.1 Driver history
Make sure you uninstall any old Razer drivers loaded. The 3.1 drivers
should be considered for USB only, on Win98 and above. WinXP
note
If you are going to upgrade your Win9x to WinXP and aren’t going to
install to a clean partition, you should uninstall the Win9x drivers,
install WinXP, then install the driver in WinXP.

3.0 Driver history
Make sure you uninstall any old Razer drivers loaded. The 3.0 drivers
should be considered for use only on XP. The 3.0 driver has been completely
tested on all supported versions of windows. We recommend USB connection
and a dedicated USB port. WinXP

If you are going to upgrade your Win9x to WinXP and aren’t going to
install to a clean partition, you should uninstall the Win9x drivers,
install WinXP, then install the driver in WinXP. New
known issues
Issue reported installing on Win2k where old driver had been running,
sometimes it does not have the tray run at windows startup when new
driver installed. Manually run the “enable tray” program to get it
working.
