For The Win Esports Club

Team Location: Portugal
Founded: 2012

For The Win Esports Club made its first appearance in 2011. It was in 2012 that they registered FTW as an electronic sports association and, since then, they have done everything in their reach to change the Portuguese gamers' mentality and develop the Esports in Portugal. For The Win Esports currently houses more than 900 members including staff, streamers, competitive and non-competitive players and is established as one of the biggest Esports clubs in Europe.

For The Win Esports Club is split into two major divisions: One, known as the FTW | Community division, where they host all the non-competitive players and train those who aspire to become professionals in this field. The other division is their competitive division called "Esports division", FTW Esports Club.

While being the face of our club, the Esports division has been the vanguard of competitive gaming in Portugal since they’ve started competing. They’ve appeared at the ESL Major Series Winter 2012 and several Insomnia editions. They are also the first Portuguese Esports Club to achieve a podium placement at a DreamHack League of Legends Tournament in 2014 and are also the first Portuguese Esports club to have a Hearthstone player attend a LAN event organized by Blizzard in the European Winter Championship 2016.
